Adult Spiritual Growth Ministry
Concern for the spiritual growth of all believers drives this ministry to provide several venues to accomplish that goal.
Sunday Adult Bible Classes are the most obvious. RLC offers several Adult Bible Classes every Sunday morning as well as a variety of Mid-week Bible Classes. These classes may be on Bible Books or topics related to daily living as Christians. We are always open to suggestions for new classes.

Romans: Alive In Christ Conference Room
Romans summarizes well both a quarter century of Paul’s
missionary preaching and teaching and the essential
emphases of his evangelical theology. Paul teaches us
that the righteousness of God is about what He gives us
in Jesus through faith; Jesus Christ, God’s Son, brings
forgiveness, life, and peace; Baptism into Christ’s death
and resurrection is both the motivation for our new life of
faith and freedom and the source of our certainty of eternal
life; and the Gospel is our only motive for sanctified living.
Led by Rey Casiano

**********
Small Groups Ministry is the in-home Bible study groups that meet on various schedules. This is a great place to meet a few folks and share the Word and fellowship in a non-threatening environment.
Seminars by leading Christian teachers are made available occasionally over the year to stretch believers to heightened awareness of various spiritual topics.
Training for leaders is made available in leadership modules in which the leaders of all ministries at RLC are invited to join in experiential learning events.
Men’s Ministry
In the past, Men’s Ministry has happened at Saturday Morning Bible Study. More recently, the Men’s Ministry has expanded from a Saturday morning Bible study to also offering groups to study the same material or book on a weeknight. This has involved more men and grown our fellowship.
Man-to-Man-Connected By Christ is the name of our men’s ministry. We believe that Christian men need to be connected to other Christian men and to Christ to grow strong spiritually. Christ Jesus connects us together and through those connections enhances and blesses the relationships we have in our families, our work, and throughout our lives. Man-to-Man meets on the first Saturday of each month for the Men’s Breakfast. This breakfast is where any business and planning is handled as well as a special spiritual growth presentation.
The Fall Men’s Retreat is always an opportunity to get away from the daily grind and spend a weekend out of town to focus on our relationships with God and each other. The retreat is open to variety in spiritual growth facilitation and recreational activities.
Service Projects allow us to fulfill the need we sense to serve others as Christ serves us. Service is also a means to fellowship with one another and witness to others of the love of Christ.
Women In Ministry
Resurrection Women in Ministry (RWIM) is the name of our Women’s Ministry at RLC. The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the organization of women in the LCMS that our Women in Ministry has joined to participate in local, regional, and synod-wide mission and ministry.
RWIM also sponsors the Tuesday Morning Bible Study from September through May. This study is open to all members (men and women) and guests. It has been led by a variety of leaders from within the congregation, and continues to be a constant spiritual growth influence at RLC.
The annual Ladies’ Retreat is generally set in the winter (February-April) timeframe. Outside speakers or teachers from RLC have led this spiritual retreat over the years. The fellowship at this event is supportive and exciting, especially through the spiritual dynamic of the weekend.
Service Projects are a key part of the RWIM. They are done locally and through the LWML worldwide-including preparing meals for families of the congregation who are in need of help, all the way to collecting items for dissemination at overseas mission sites.
